Kinetic Typography

How does this combination of design elements impact
communication?

In many ways. For example, one of the only reasons why we bother listening to the Typographies, is because of how they actually present it. In Kinetic Typographies, the way they present what they're trying to say, is by getting a bunch of words and moving and shuffling them around on screen. And out of curiosity, we will want to watch it more. It's kind of like how we prefer watching informative animations rather then reading it of paper.

Here are a few examples that I found that use this presentation technique -

I-Pads are slow.....nothing else said.

1. Internet Access. Something that is usually expected in most electronic internet surfing devices. Unfortunately for I-Pads, that concept is somewhat left out. That meaning you can HARDLY surf the interweb. I'll tell you this, if you want to go on youtube, check you're E-Mail, or do anything that requires internet in a easy go service, then I would suggest sticking to the laptop.

2. Consistency of Signal. BAD, VERY VERY BAD. This might be because I sit in bad areas, or because the people I sit with are sucking up all the signal with the twiddling of there computers. However, back at home, I actually own an I-Pad, and it is still REALLY slow.

3. Tips & Tricks. Not much actually. Considering that I actually have an I-Pad, I pretty much know almost everything about the I-pad and it's tips and tricks.

4. More Apps? Well, not that I know of.

5. Problem Solving. Some things that I can't do on the I-Pad is that it doesn't really have a good internet connection.

That's my stuff.

Here are 3 pieces of work that I have been doing for E-Pub. If you don't enjoy, then you're not a cat.

My Minecraft Play-through of MLG awesomeness*
*Unfortunately, the blogger site is not acting like a cat, so I'll just change the name to:
My MLG VIDEO OF MLG awesomeness.
Today's video would be the Nya Cat video. It's epic. Trust me.

Also, I have made a few comics about video games. I thought it would be epic to show you guys my favorite one!
I also created a "Picture of the Day" also!

And the grand finale....
Yeah, I have no life...I know....

Eballoonificitpickilus-ation (E-publication)

Now, instead of me just adding some random or stupid introduction that's completely irrelevant to the entire blog post, I'm just gonna skip to the main aspect.

First off, what are some examples of E-publications?
-Blogs (Such as this one)

-Webpages

-Articles on the interwebzzz

-Catalouges

Yeah, you probably get the point.....
WOAH! You thought I was gonna leave eh? WRONG!

How is this showcased in middle school (Our's to be exact)?
In many ways, one of them however, is the Panther Apps system that school uses to manage there news letters, updates, important days, and also serveys. The reason why this technique is very useful is mainly because it allows the school website administrators to organize there information more efficiently.

For example, everyday-- Mr Callan, A.K.A the middle school principal creates a daily Middle School Bulletin in order to tells us anything important regarding the school curriculum or any gratitudes towards our schools teams. This is very useful, because how else would the middle school prinicipal tell us these things? Through a carboard tube? Go to class to class? Or even-- force people to do it for him!?!?? However, Mr Callan could say it through the in-built speakers in class....just saying.

My written proposal...

Me an my partner Zifan are going to do a "daily news" on games, cartoons and other things that we think that's interesting.

What our news will display is:

Games:
  • Computer games,
  • Game for Ipad and Iphone
  • Video Games
  • Others
  • Any game updates
  • Upcoming games
We are also going to make reviews of Ipad and Iphone games and see if they are worth buying. We also do news daily about game conferences and other stuffs too.

Also, what I'm thinking of doing is putting a caption picture daily that's about video games. It can either be anything from winning significantly, giving advice, or even failing stupidly!

Videos
I'm thinking of placing videos of games and montages about games. I figured that it would be pretty cool to entertain people with such things so that they would appreciate our page more efficiently. I could also use applications like Xtranormal to make video game reviews if needed.

Comics
All of this will be displayed via Bitstrips; an internet application (Like Prezi) that allows you to create comics for your own uses.

Interviews
A good idea that I thought was good was to maybe interview people around Iskl about random topics, such as the Japan earthquake, or how many times can you fart in a minute (Just jokin' about that one).

Question of the day
This is somewhat obvious to even add a description, so I'll just let you guys figure out what I mean by this.

Movies
For this one, I'll probably talk about some upcoming movies, and my first thoughts on them. I could even maybe review them and talk about the main aspects of it too!
