My Prezi Reflection
For I.T, my class and I was assigned to a project where we would use Prezi; an interactive presentation editor to make a world tour for our favorite band. During the project, I came across a few likes, and dislikes, and probably just a few challenges that I had to overcome during the project. Right now, I'm here to discuss my reflection on my Prezi world tour, I hope you all enjoy it!
First of, let me introduce to you some of my likes about Prezi, and then I'll show you what I really don't like about it later on. Likes: What I really like about Prezi is the fact that it is interactive; it nots like you're casual slideshow presentation, instead, Prezi uses a sort of birds-eye view camera that swerves and turns, as if theirs a camera thats zooming around the place. Also another thing that really like in Prezi is the "Zebra" function. The Zebra function allows you to resize or reshape words and images with your will. Just click on an object of your desire, and then, almost immediately, a big circle with patterns on the sides and in the middle will appear, this circle, is called the Zebra. Very cool right? If you click on the patterns each 1 will have its own very unique function, 1 function is to resize, another function is to reshape, and ANOTHER function is to rotate, and the pattern in the middle is used mostly for dragging around and placing it somewhere that you like.
Though their are some disadvantages that may occur in Prezi, these disadvantages are very annoying and may even cause your internet browser to quit (Like what happened to me). Dislikes: Prezi may be a very cool interactive presentation editor, but their are a few bugs that may need some fixing when you're on Prezi. 1 thing that really gets on my nerves is the fact that Prezi uses internet, not just for putting images, but it literally uses internet. Prezi isn't an application that you download on your computer and you can use it anytime you want. As a matter of fact, you have to go on a website so that you'll be able to use it!
1 other thing that really gets annoying is when I want to put a image on my Prezi. When you want to put an image on your prezi, you have to drag it into some file in your computer, and then when you go on your prezi, you have to click on this option called "upload". Then a box comes out, telling you to click on the image that you want to put in your Prezi. To me, doing this may waste your time when you want to put an image in your Prezi, its gets very irratating every time I drag images into my files so that I can put a image into my Prezi. Also, what I really don't like at all is the image upload time. First of, if you have a really slow internet, or if a lot of people are using your internet, the time it takes to upload an image is extremely slow, plus, if this happens, a message might appear saying that you can't upload your image due to your internet being very slow, this also, is very annoying whenever you want to upload an image.

However, that was just 1 challenge, another challenge I had was navigating my way through the entire page, see, your information, is put on 1 BIG page, that you're supposed to navigate your way through, this is because Prezi, is not a slideshow presentation editor, its an INTERACTIVE presentation editor, so that meant that you had to put your images and text on 1 page, while your flying camera zooms around the place looking at your text and images.
